5 Things We Love About Scotland, Independent or Not!
As Scotland heads into an historical vote today, I have mixed emotions. On the one hand, I am a huge fan of Scottish culture. My Irish ancestors moved to Scotland before immigrating to the U.S. back in the 1800s and, well, let’s face it Irish Gaelic and Scottish Gaelic cultures have much in common. But, will this move to independence make Scotland into another country seeking to modernize and leaving tradition behind? Or will it strengthen that cultural identity? Either way, we will remain huge fans of Scotland and continue to visit and appreciate the Scottish culture we love so much! Here are some of best times we had on our visit when the boys were little:
