Alaska, the least populated state in the U.S is well known for its natural resources, cold climate and winter conditions. The upper Kenai River is one of the popular fishing locations in Alaska and has a rich population of salmon and rainbow trout throughout the year. Skilak lake is also another great location for fishing and individuals have the option of boating on the crystal clear lake while fishing, an activity that most kids will enjoy in Alaska.
Glacier viewing

This glacier is located outside seaward and can be easily accessed either on foot or by car. Camping is another fun activity for kids in Alaska. Most of the national parks in Alaska allow individuals to camp within the park in selected areas. Camping in Alaska will allow the family to have a quiet time while enjoying the picturesque view synonymous with Alaska. Some of the game reserves at where camping is allowed includes St Elias national park, Lake Clark national park and Kobuk valley national park.
